‘The Alchemy of Dreams – poem 11’
Rays of love flow,
right through the existence of life,
and enlighten a piece inside me,
a piece that glows, warm and familiar,
as familiar as the sky, the sea and the trees,
Swells the love in the earth and
let the soul of the earth feed itself,
which moves with our consciousness,
To great heights and deep valleys,
according to the free choice decides
which way to go.
The rays of love,
shine eternally in the soul,
and pave their way through the hectic pace of life,
a safe place,
forever given,
available over and over again,
along the unpredictable paths of life.
I want to live there, in that place within me,
and let it not be disturbed by anything.
Oh if only I could, if only it wasn’t that difficult,
in life,
to have to fight.
Dear soul,
guide me to the light,
each time a little closer,
enlighten the soul of the earth,
make this place a tiny bit bigger
by choosing to go to the light,
so that many can find this light safe place,
and the earth slowly becomes a tiny bit lighter.

Stralen van liefde stromen,
dwars door het bestaansrecht van het leven,
en verlicht een stukje in mij,
een stukje dat gloeit, warm en vertrouwd,
even vertrouwd als de lucht, de zee en de bomen,
Welt de liefde in de aarde en
laat de ziel van de aarde zich voeden,
die met ons bewustzijn meebeweegt,
Naar grote hoogten en diepe dalen,
al naar gelang de vrije keuze beslist
welke kant te gaan.
De stralen van liefde,
schijnen voor eeuwig in de ziel,
en banen een weg door de hectiek van het leven,
een veilige plek,
voor eeuwig gegeven,
steeds opnieuw beschikbaar,
langs de onvoorspelbare wegen van het leven.
Ik wil daar wonen, op die plek in mijzelf,
en het door niets laten verstoren.
Oh kon dat maar, was het maar niet zo lastig,
in het leven,
te moeten bevechten.
Lieve ziel,
begeleidt mij naar het licht,
steeds een stukje dichterbij,
verlicht de ziel van de aarde,
maak deze plek een heel klein stukje groter
door de keuze naar het licht te willen gaan,
zodat velen deze lichte veilige plek kunnen vinden,
en de aarde langzaam een klein beetje lichter wordt.
