‘The Alchemy of Dreams – poem 10’
Bygone times floating as a storm above the sea,
pulling at the dream which tries to be brought to life.
Stirred up, thrusting, flowing,
the storm forms itself into the pillars of our temple of life,
which is chiseled into the worlds of the dream.
That moment, which captures the ambivalent movement,
And looks out to flood the ordeal with happiness,
is beheld by the seaman,
who waits without fear… ,
on the swell of the waves,
Till the long-awaited time has come.

Vervlogen tijden zweven als een storm boven de zee,
trekkend aan de droom die probeert tot leven gewekt te worden.
Opgezweept, stuwend, stromend,
vormt de storm zich tot de zuilen van onze levenstempel,
die wordt gebeiteld in de werelden van de droom.
Dat moment, welke de tweeslachtige beweging vangt,
En uitkijkt om de beproeving te overstromen met geluk,
wordt aanschouwd door de zeeman,
die wacht zonder angst … ,
op de deining van de golven,
Tot de langverwachte tijd is gekomen.
