‘The painting is like a travel of the spirit of Saint John to Paradise through the landscape of the island Patmos (Greece). Heaven is crying and is letting Saint John shine along his way.

I like the idea that the trees are sort of two different characters which complement each other and accompany his spirit along the way. The left dark, passionate and loud, the right transparant, light, gentle and silent.’
